I love surprises, and I can't think of one thing more thrilling than a thoughtful surprise. I came home today to a simple but amazingly sweet care package all the way from Milwaukee. The truth is, I think it's been in my mailbox for a few days. But, Marsha said I got her sentiment just when I needed it -- today. So true! A note, Starbucks gift card and some Bath & Body Works "happiness" in blissful citrus watermint scent. It really is bottled happiness. "I got a friend of mind. She gather me, man. The pieces I am, she gather them and give them back to me in all the right order. It's good to know, when you got a woman who is a friend of your mind." (she quoted Toni Morrison)
