A Beauty Tip from Dove

Last week, I texted my cousin and asked her if she moisturizes her underarms. Her response was not with any intention but that her antiperspirant has a moisturizer. Listen, I pride myself on knowing every nuance of beautification, just for the fun of it. I love everything about being a woman {well, almost everything}, and I'm always trying new beauty products that promise to keep me looking and feeling my best. I hadn't heard of moisturizing your underarms until I was completing a survey from Influenster that asked if I did. I didn't pursue the topic to any elaborate extent, but last week I received a free sample of Dove Advance Care deodorant from Influenster and I am strikingly impressed. It's not my first package from the community that allows me the opportunity to give feedback on a variety of products and brands, but it is the first I've been eager to post about here. Am I the only one asking myself: Who thinks about their underarm skin? Well, now, I do! I've been using the original formula of Dove deodorant since it first came out and never even thought of veering from it. While, I won't be buying a special underarm moisturizer, I'll definitely be changing to the Advanced Care.

  1. LOL I guess I'm just one of those weird people. I rub my underarms with the residue of shea butter left on my hands after I oil my feet.

  2. How did I miss this post? I too started moisturizing my underarms in the winter when it started to itch like crazy. I usually have dry skin in the winter and when my underams started to itch too I had a lightbulb moment - it's skin over there too! I also use dove deodorant with moisturizer and it helps!
